May's Notes
Wow! It’s May already, time flies when you’re having fun. April’s bluebonnet shoot brought out a lot of
members. I think we had 21 show up at the sausage factory for breakfast. We then toured Old Baylor and
over to Gay Hill for some shots at the cemetery and then the tunnel on the way back to Brenham Airport
where we consumed massive amounts of gourmet food (huh?). Good job Jerry!
Competition is getting fierce. We had some fine images presented at the competition meeting. I think we
need to keep an eye on Judith Williams, she may well be the one to make the run for the Photographer of
the Year. Anywho, my congrats to all the members who presented images and especially to those who won.
On another competition note I think things ran a lot smoother this past competition.
So kudos to Araj and Cindi.
David and Pam have some neat and informing programs on the list and I look forward to them.
In closing keep Jackie in your thoughts and prayers, she has a long recovery ahead of her.
Remember. We are actually a gourmet food club with a photography habit!
