Welcome!

Here it is August already. This is the month where the weather gets really hot.

All of a sudden our membership has been really dwindling. If you know any people interested in photography, please invite them to the club and to join our happy little group. Increased participation can only help us all.

A word about critique.
Please come to the critique portion with an open mind. What we all intend by our critique is to offer things to the photographer that they may not have thought of themselves. This doesn't mean the comment is fact, only an opinion. We all have certain things that bug us in our photographs and we cull our own shots based on our own likes and dislikes. Very often this does not coincide with another's likes and dislikes. In fact very often you probably did not even think of the item that may be offered by another photographer that he/she thinks may improve your shot.

These comments are offered free of charge and can be accepted or rejected with no insult on either side.

Bring this attitude to our critique sessions and remember that the whole idea is for your enjoyment and possible improvement. This is the one thing in this club that sets us apart from anyone else.

Terry Connors

President.
